This newly renovated and refurbished cottage is a large traditional Farmhouse built in the 1930's and three generations of the Fitzpatrick Family have lived here. It is situated on a dairy and dry stock farm where the owners and their family (fourth generation) now reside.
 
The cottage is lovely situated on an elevated location in a quiet and peaceful area overlooking the lovely West Clare landscape with the Shannon River in short distance beyond the fields. West Clare stands for days filled with activitiy - fishing, golfing, walking, cycling, exploring, diving, canoeing, surfing, watching the dolphins the the Shannon estuary and - last not least - spending the evenings in pubs, enjoying the hospitality of the locals, listening to live traditional music or taking part in the set dancing.
