5 minute drive will take you to the renowned Greg Norman designed
Doonbeg links Golf course, luxury Hotel and Spa and to Doughmore
Strand, famous for surfing, its beautiful sand dunes, long beach
walks and horse riding. More golf courses such as Kilrush, Kilkee,
Spanish Point and Lahinch are less than half an hour away.
The famous
Cliffs of Moher and its state of the art interpretive centre Atlantic
Edge is also only a 30 min. drive away.
A
sandy swimming beach is located just 3 minutes from the Lodge. Other
sights include Dolphin watching tours, boat trips to Scattery Island,
cliff walking and several beautiful towns and beaches are just a
short drive away.
The area has excellent sea and freshwater fishing
opportunities. Annageragh River which runs not far from the house is

Kilkee has a beautiful sheltered beach and is also starting point of the Loop Head Drive leading along spectacular cliff scenery to Loop Head Lighthouse.
Loop Head is also a great place for Birdwatching, but you don't have to go that far - Lake Donnell is just beside the house and a favourite rest spot for migrating birds.
The
bustling market town of Kilrush with it’s beautiful marina is
just 15 minutes drive away.
The town of Miltown Malbay is 10 kms away and offers the annual Willie Clancy Summer School each July
which attracts thousands of visitors who are passionate about
traditional Irish music and dance. Kilometers of quiet country roads make
for perfect walking and cycling. The West Clare Cycleway passes near the house.
Its location on a small
quiet country road makes for a very peaceful resting place and a
superb base for your holiday. It is in fact, a little piece of
