The house is ideally located central to all the sights in the West of County Clare - from the unique Burren landscape and the Cliffs of Moher in the North to Loop Head Peninsula and the Shannon Estuary with its Dolphin families in the South.
Miltown Malbay offers a variety of shops and traditional Pubs providing evening entertainment, but is most famous for the Willie Clancy Traditional Music Summer School, taking place in early July each year and attracting thousands of traditional music enthusiasts.
The very popular seaside holiday resort of Lahinch is just 10 minutes away from the cottage. Lahinch is famous for it's award winning beach and championship links 18-hole golf courses. An indoor pool and leisure complex overlooking the beach will provide hours of entertainment for all the family, or else visit the boutiques, shops, the Art
the restaurants and village inns. A number of shops provide for souvenirs, clothing, handcrafts, golf supplies and books. The area is also known for it's nightly entertainment during the summer months.
