 Norah's Cottage is located in a very quiet rural area in the rolling hills of the West Clare landscape, far away from major roads. The area is ideal for relaxing,
for walking and  bicycling on quiet country roads, for fishing in the rivers and lakes. Children will enjoy the swing, a play tent and basketball. Garden furniture and a sheltered BBQ area are also there.
The cottage is also the ideal centre for your  sightseeing trips - all attractions Clare has to offer are in easy driving distance. The Atlantic and sandy beaches are less than 30 minutes away.
Kilrush has a Marina where boats leave to Scattery Island and Dolphin watching trips. The Killimer Shannon Car Ferry links Kerry and Clare on a short cruise - so all the sights there are also within car day trips. Or visit Ennis, the attractive capital
