Being so close to Doonbeg Golf Links Course this is the perfect place to stay if you're into Golfing! This and many other famous courses are within easy reach, from Kilrush and Kilkee in the South to Spanish Point and Lahinch in the North! Even renowned Ballybunion, Co.Kerry, is just a short river-ferry trip across the Shannon!

Swimming & Surfing
Doughmore strand with its rolling Atlantic waves is a favourite spot for surfers from all over the world! However, swimming is not possible here due to strong underwater currents, but several close-by beaches – including some that carry the European Blue Flag award - offer a wide choice for safe family entertainment..

Fishing
the area has much to offer the angler! In-shore angling is possible on Doughmore Strand, plus local lakes and rivers provide excellent freshwater fishing! For further information look here.

Walking, Cycling, Riding
The quiet country roads in our neighbourhood invite for hiking and cycling! And Doughmore Strand is just beautiful for walking and horse riding!

Traditional Music
