Craggaknock Atlantic View Farmhouse is located at the N67 Miltown Malbay to Kilkee Road with nice views onto the West Clare landscape from Slievecallan Mountain in the Northeast to the Clare Coastline in the West and to the Kerry Mountains in the South. The area offers plenty of things to see and countless activities.

The dunes at beautiful
Doughmore Strand host the new Greg Norman designed Doonbeg Golf Links Course and is just 5 minutes away. If you're not into Golfing the long sandy beach is invites for long walks and horse riding. Though the waters here are not safe for swimming they are perfect for surfing. Safe and family friendly sandy bathing beaches are to be found at Seafield Spanish Point and White Strand, Doonbeg.

Annageragh River - which runs not far from the house - is famous for trout fishing. But the area has many more lakes and rivers offering excellent fishing. Numerous spots along the Atlantic coast allow beach and rock fishing. For further information look here.

Folklore says that the old Ring Fort next to the house is where the fairies from Clare meet their neighbours from Kerry for nightly Ceilidhs... Other
Sights include the little towns of West Clare: Kilkee with the sheltered beach and the spectacular rocky coastline and Kilrush with its Marina and the boats to Scattery Island and Dolphin watching tours. The town of Miltown Malbay is a very short drive away and offers shops, pubs and Restaurants. The annual Willie Clancy Summer School attracts thousands of friends of traditional Irish Music and Dance. Cosy traditional pubs in the villages of Cree, Mullagh and Doonbeg have regular traditional music sessionsthroughout the year.

The hospitality of the locals here islegendary and whether youmeet them on the road or in the pub for a Guinness they'll always be having a friendly chat with you.
