Golfers find many golf courses for all tastes and abilities in the area: Kilrush, Kilkee, Ennis, Doonbeg, Ballybunion in Co.Kerry - to name just a few...

The scenic area of Cranny has many quiet country lanes and make it ideal for secluded walks and bicycling! The angler will find big stocks of small brown trout and the occasional sea-trout or salmon in the Cloon River and in Gortlass Lake!

Shops are not too far and the local pub "Tir na nÓg" (Land of youth!) is just 5 minutes away offering an opportunity to join the locals for a pint of the best Guinness in Ireland
and enjoy the music sessions!!

The house is perfectly located for touring County Clare and Kerry as the car-ferry to Kerry is only 8 miles from the cottage. All the sights of West Clare, including the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren region, Ennis with its attractive narrow streets as well as the the Atlantic beaches and
the spectacular rocky coastline on Loop Head Peninsula are in easy driving distance.
