This newly built spacious and modern holiday home is quietly located on the shores of the Shannon Estuary near Kilrush with beautiful views onto the Shannon with historic
Scattery Island. There are daily boat trips from Kilrush Marina to the Island with its
ruins of early monasteries and churches, a well preserved round tower and a fort from napoleonic times.
The busy little market town of Kilrush is 5 mins. away and has super markets, restaurants and a choice of traditional pubs. The Eigse Mrs. Crotty traditional music festival and music school takes place each year in August and attracts friends of traditional Irish music and dance. The very quiet and more or less traffic free coast road invites for walks. You'll see families of bottleneck dolphins playing! Dolphin watching tours by boat are available from Kilrush Marina.
There are various bathing possibilities, the pier in Cappa which also offers safe and guarded (in summer) swimming is just 5 Minutes away. The Atlantic beach in Kilkee is only 15 mins. away.
Kilkee is also starting point for the Loop Head Drive along the rugged Atlantic Coastline to Loop Head Lighthouse offering spectacular coastal scenery.

Kilkee, Doonbeg, Lahinch, Ennis, Dromoland and Ballybunion are all within easy reach.
The area is also famous with birdwatchers with many spots to observe migrating birds on their first stop after passing the Atlantic.
