Traditional Music
Clare is the heart of traditional Irish Music in Ireland! Sessions take place nearly every evening in the pubs throughout town and very often guest musicians are welcome to join in! Eigse Mrs. Crotty Traditional Music Festival takes place here every August and gives music enthusiasts a chance to learn the Concertina music - or to just enjoy music and dance in the pubs and in the streets.

Fishing

 Golfing
plays a huge part in Ireland's outdoor activities and there are a number of Golf Courses for all tastes in this area to cater for this hobby!
Kilrush Golf Course is only 5 minutes from the house, other courses are in Lahinch, Doonbeg and Spanish Point as well as in Ballybunnion, Kerry and in Adare, Limerick across the river Shannon.


Watersports
The Kilrush Creek adventure centre at the Kilrush Marina offers courses in many watersport activities - for all ages!
Swimming and Surfing
Cappa Pier - 5 min. from the house) on the Shannon is a Blue Flag Beach, as are the Atlantic Beaches in Kilkee and Doonbeg (White Strand), each only 15 minutes away.
